Welcome to Tanzania! Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, a friendly guide or representative from Adhama Adventures will meet you and transfer you to your hotel in Arusha. The journey takes approximately one hour, depending on traffic.

Once you arrive, you will receive a detailed safari briefing covering your itinerary, accommodations, and what to expect during your adventure. Afterward, take time to relax and enjoy the comfort of your hotel as you prepare for your upcoming safari experience.

After breakfast in Arusha, begin your safari with a scenic two-hour drive to Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most rewarding wildlife destinations, widely known for its large elephant populations.

Upon entering the park, enjoy an exciting full-day game drive through diverse landscapes of savanna, acacia woodlands, and iconic baobab trees. Keep your eyes open for lions, leopards, buffalos, zebras, giraffes, and various antelope species. Tarangire National Park is also home to hundreds of bird species, making it a paradise for bird lovers.

As you explore the area, take in the surreal scenery shaped by volcanic activity, with views of the nearby Ol Doinyo Lengai, an active volcano often referred to as the “Mountain of God” by the Maasai people.

Today’s game drive focuses on the central Serengeti, known as the Seronera. This area is considered one of the richest wildlife habitats in the entire park and is famous for its high concentration of lions and leopards.

The Seronera region is supported by the permanent Seronera River, which provides a reliable water source throughout the year. This attracts a wide variety of wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, antelopes, and numerous bird species, making it one of the best places for game viewing in the Serengeti.

After breakfast at the lodge, depart for the famous Ngorongoro Conservation Area, one of Africa’s most spectacular wildlife destinations.

After an early morning breakfast, depart for a cultural experience at Lake Eyasi to meet the local indigenous communities.

Begin your visit with the Hadzabe, one of the last remaining hunter-gatherer groups in East Africa. Join them on a guided cultural experience where you will learn about their traditional way of life, including hunting techniques and gathering activities.

The Hadzabe are known for their deep connection with nature and simple lifestyle. They traditionally hunt small game such as dik-dik and collect wild honey and edible plants. Their temporary shelters are made quickly from natural materials and are often moved depending on seasonal resources. The Hadzabe also speak a unique click-based language, reflecting their ancient cultural heritage.

Later in the day, visit the Datoga, known for their livestock keeping and traditional craftsmanship. The Datoga are skilled blacksmiths who produce knives, arrowheads, and handmade jewelry used within their community and traded locally.

After the cultural experience, begin your journey back to Arusha with a lunch stop along the way. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off at your hotel or transferred directly to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your departure flight.
