Tour Plan

Departing from Arusha, your safari begins as your professional guide from Adhama Adventures collects you from your hotel. From there, you will travel to Tarangire National Park for a full game drive through one of northern Tanzania’s most wildlife-rich destinations.

Upon entering the park, you will explore diverse landscapes filled with open savannahs, river valleys, and iconic baobab trees. The Tarangire River, which runs through the park, serves as a vital water source for wildlife during the dry season, attracting large concentrations of animals.

During your game drive, you may encounter large herds of elephants, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, and various antelope species. The park is also known for predators such as lions and leopards, as well as unique sightings like African rock pythons that can sometimes be seen resting in trees.

At midday, your guide will select a scenic spot inside Tarangire National Park for a relaxing picnic lunch surrounded by nature. After lunch, the safari continues with more wildlife viewing before exiting the park in the late afternoon.

You will then proceed to Karatu for dinner and overnight stay, where you can relax after a rewarding day in the wilderness.

The day begins with an early departure into Serengeti National Park, where you will enjoy a scenic game drive accompanied by a picnic lunch. With your professional guide from Adhama Adventures, you will explore vast grasslands filled with rich wildlife activity.

The Serengeti is famous for its wide-open plains and incredible biodiversity. During your drive, you may see large herds of buffalo, elephants, and giraffes, along with smaller groups of antelope such as eland, topi, kongoni, impala, and Grant’s gazelle moving across the savannah.

The name Serengeti comes from the Maasai language meaning “endless plains,” reflecting the vast landscape that stretches as far as the eye can see. This ecosystem is also home to a high concentration of predators, including lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, and African wild dogs, making every game drive full of anticipation and discovery.

Throughout the safari, your guide will help you track wildlife and identify animals in their natural environment, ensuring an enriching and memorable experience in one of Africa’s most iconic national parks.

After breakfast, you will set out for a full-day safari in Serengeti National Park, exploring its vast open plains and diverse ecosystems with your guide from Adhama Adventures. The day is dedicated to wildlife viewing across different parts of the park, offering excellent opportunities to observe animals in their natural environment.

As you travel through the rolling savannah, you may encounter large herds of zebras, wildebeest, and gazelles, along with elephants, giraffes, and buffalo. The Serengeti is also well known for its predator population, including lions, cheetahs, leopards, hyenas, and African wild dogs, which are often seen following or hunting prey across the plains.

The name Serengeti comes from the Maasai language and means “endless plains,” describing the vast landscape that defines this iconic national park. Its open terrain supports one of the highest concentrations of predators in Africa, making wildlife encounters frequent and dramatic throughout the day.

In the afternoon, you will continue your game drive before heading to your reserved lodge or tented camp inside Serengeti National Park for dinner and overnight rest, surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

After breakfast, you will collect your picnic lunch boxes and begin your journey to Ngorongoro Crater, one of the Seven Natural Wonders of Africa. Formed around two million years ago after a massive volcanic eruption, this ancient caldera has developed into one of the most remarkable wildlife habitats on the continent.

With your guide from Adhama Adventures, you will descend into the crater floor to explore its rich and self-contained ecosystem. The fertile volcanic soil and permanent water sources support an exceptional concentration of wildlife throughout the year.

Inside the crater, you will find large populations of lions, buffalo, zebras, wildebeest, and many other herbivores living in close proximity. The area is also one of the best places in Africa to see the rare and endangered black rhinoceros, making it a highlight for many safari travelers.

As you explore the diverse landscapes of grasslands, forests, and wetlands within Ngorongoro Crater, you will enjoy a full-day game drive before ascending back to the crater rim after an unforgettable wildlife experience.

After breakfast, you will collect your picnic lunch and depart for Lake Eyasi with your guide from Adhama Adventures. The journey takes you through scenic landscapes and rural villages, offering a glimpse of everyday life in northern Tanzania.

At Lake Eyasi, you will meet the Hadzabe, one of the last remaining hunter-gatherer communities in East Africa, known for their traditional hunting skills and deep knowledge of the natural environment. You may also interact with the Datoga, a skilled community known for cattle keeping and traditional blacksmithing.

During your visit, you will observe and learn about their daily activities, including hunting practices, tool-making, and survival techniques. The Datoga are especially known for crafting useful items such as arrowheads and knives from recycled metal, which are used by the Hadzabe in their traditional lifestyle.

After this unique cultural experience, you will continue your journey back to Karatu for dinner and overnight rest, reflecting on a day filled with meaningful cultural encounters and authentic traditions.

After breakfast, you will collect your lunch boxes and depart for Lake Manyara National Park with your guide from Adhama Adventures. The journey leads you into one of Tanzania’s most scenic parks, located along the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment.

During your game drive, you will enjoy spectacular views of the park and its diverse ecosystems. The lake itself attracts large numbers of birds, while the surrounding woodlands are home to elephants, giraffes, baboons, and other wildlife. A visit to the famous hippo pool offers a chance to observe hippos resting in the water throughout the day.

Lake Manyara National Park is part of the Great Rift Valley system, a massive geological formation stretching across East Africa. The steep escarpment and surrounding landscapes create a dramatic setting that supports a wide variety of habitats, including groundwater forests, open grasslands, and the alkaline lake.

The park is also well known for its rich birdlife, with flamingos, pelicans, storks, and many other species commonly seen along the lake shores. After completing your game drive, you will transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your flight home or onward journey.
