Tour Plan
Early in the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha by your guide from Full Package Adventures and begin your journey to Tarangire National Park. You will carry packed lunch boxes for a full-day game drive across this remarkable wildlife area.
Inside the park, you will explore a variety of landscapes including open savannahs, seasonal wetlands, and riverine areas shaped by the Tarangire River, which serves as the main water source for wildlife during the dry season. This river attracts large concentrations of animals, especially during dry months.
Tarangire is particularly known for its large elephant herds, often seen moving across the plains or gathering near water sources. You may also observe predators such as lions hunting or resting in the grasslands, and leopards positioned in trees as they watch over the surroundings.
After the game drive, you will return to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay, concluding a rewarding day in one of Tanzania’s most scenic national parks.
After breakfast, you will depart with your safari guide from Full Package Adventures and travel to Lake Eyasi for a full day of cultural exploration and interaction with local communities.
Your first visit will be to the Hadzabe, one of the last remaining traditional hunter-gatherer groups in East Africa. Here, you will learn about their daily way of life and may join them in observing or participating in traditional hunting practices, gaining insight into their survival skills and deep connection with nature.
Afterward, you will continue to the Datoga, a community known for their skilled craftsmanship and blacksmithing traditions. You will observe how they create tools and metal items using traditional methods passed down through generations.
The experience also includes a relaxed walk around the shores of Lake Eyasi, along with visits to nearby villages, where you can observe daily life and gain a deeper understanding of local culture.
In the late afternoon, you will return to your lodge for dinner, relaxation, and overnight stay, completing a meaningful cultural experience in northern Tanzania.
After breakfast, your tour guide from Full Package Adventures will pick you up and drive you to Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive, carrying packed lunch boxes for the journey.
Upon descending into the crater, you will explore one of Africa’s most famous wildlife areas, recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the natural wonders of the continent. The crater is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and supports a permanent population of wildlife throughout the year.
Inside this unique ecosystem, you may encounter large mammals such as buffaloes, elephants, lions, cheetahs, and the endangered black rhinoceros. The area is also rich in birdlife, including flamingos, eagles, buzzards, and many other species found around the crater’s lakes, grasslands, and forests.
The dense concentration of wildlife makes it possible to see many animals within a short period, offering one of the most rewarding safari experiences in Tanzania.
In the afternoon, you will ascend from the crater and return to your lodge for dinner, relaxation, and overnight stay, concluding an unforgettable day in Ngorongoro Crater.
After breakfast, your guide from Full Package Adventures will pick you up from your hotel and drive you to Lake Manyara National Park for a final game drive. You will carry packed lunch boxes to enjoy during your time in the park.
Lake Manyara National Park is a compact but diverse park known for its rich ecosystems, where forest, open grassland, and lake environments exist in close proximity. During your game drive, you may encounter elephants, giraffes, zebras, buffalo, hippos, warthogs, and large troops of baboons that are commonly seen throughout the park.
The park is also famous for its tree-climbing lions and excellent birdwatching opportunities, especially around the lake area where many species gather. A stop at the hippo pool allows you to stretch and observe hippos resting in the water while enjoying the surrounding scenery.
After completing the game drive, you will begin your transfer to either Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight. This marks the end of your safari experience, concluding with lasting memories of Tanzania’s wildlife and landscapes.
