After a safari briefing in the morning, your Tanzania safari with Adhama Africa Adventures begins with a scenic drive of approximately two hours to Tarangire National Park, one of the most rewarding wildlife destinations in Northern Tanzania. Known for its giant baobab trees, open bush savannah, and seasonal marshes, Tarangire offers a truly diverse and picturesque safari environment.

The park is widely regarded as one of the best places in Tanzania to see elephants up close, with large herds often gathering near water sources. During your game drive, you will also encounter a wide range of wildlife including buffaloes, zebras, and wildebeests, which attract predators such as lions. Leopards are occasionally spotted resting in trees, while cheetahs are more elusive but remain a special sight for lucky visitors.

Enjoy uninterrupted views from the open roof of your safari vehicle, allowing you to fully take in the stunning landscapes and observe wildlife in their natural habitat—perfect for photography and an authentic safari experience.

In the late afternoon, you will leave the park and drive to Lake Burunge Baobab Tented Lodge, your comfortable accommodation for the next two nights. Set in a peaceful location near Lake Burunge, the lodge offers beautiful surroundings and a relaxing atmosphere, making it the perfect place to unwind after your first exciting day on safari.

Enjoy a full day of game drives in Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most scenic and wildlife-rich safari destinations. This exciting day with Adhama Africa Adventures allows you to explore the park in depth, discovering its diverse landscapes and incredible concentration of animals.

During the dry season, large numbers of wildlife gather along the Tarangire River, the park’s main water source, making it one of the best places to observe animal behavior up close. Here, you may witness elephants drinking and bathing, herds of zebras and wildebeests crossing the riverbanks, and predators such as lions waiting nearby.

With a full day in the park, you will also have the opportunity to explore more remote areas of Tarangire, away from the crowds. Experience the full beauty of a Tanzania safari—from sightings of majestic lions and graceful giraffes to the fascinating activity of smaller creatures like dung beetles, all playing a role in this unique ecosystem.

Your experienced safari guide will share valuable knowledge about wildlife, habitats, and ecosystems, enriching your understanding of the natural world and making your safari even more meaningful.

As the day comes to an end, you will return to Lake Burunge Baobab Tented Lodge, located just outside the park. Relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings as you reflect on an incredible day filled with wildlife encounters and unforgettable moments on your Tanzania safari.

After breakfast, your Tanzania safari with Adhama Africa Adventures continues with a scenic journey through the cooler highlands, heading toward the legendary Serengeti National Park. Along the way, enjoy changing landscapes as you travel from rolling hills into the vast open plains that make the Serengeti one of Africa’s most iconic safari destinations.

By midday, you will arrive in the Serengeti, the largest national park in Tanzania, known for its incredible diversity of habitats. From short grass plains and open savannah to dense bush, swamps, and seasonal lakes, the park offers a rich ecosystem that supports a wide variety of wildlife. Scattered across the landscape are distinctive rock formations known as kopjes, which serve as lookout points for predators such as lions and leopards.

The Serengeti is world-famous for the Great Migration, where hundreds of thousands of wildebeests and zebras move across the plains in search of fresh grazing and water. This natural spectacle is one of the most extraordinary wildlife events on Earth and a major highlight of any Tanzania safari.

Enjoy your first game drive in the park as you take in the endless plains and search for wildlife in this remarkable environment.

In the evening, you will arrive at Kati Kati Tented Camp, located within the Serengeti. This comfortable tented camp offers an authentic safari experience, allowing you to stay close to nature while enjoying the unique atmosphere of the African wilderness.

Today is fully dedicated to game viewing in the world-famous Serengeti National Park, one of the top wildlife safari destinations in Africa. With Adhama Africa Adventures, you will explore different areas of the park depending on the location of the Great Migration, ensuring the best possible wildlife viewing experience.

The Serengeti is home to one of nature’s most spectacular events—the Great Migration—where vast herds of wildebeests and zebras move across the plains in search of fresh grazing and water. Predators follow closely behind, including lions, leopards often seen resting in acacia trees, and cheetahs roaming the open savannah, creating dramatic and unforgettable safari moments.

The movement of the herds changes throughout the year. During the short rainy season in November and December, the migration moves from the northern hills to the southern plains. In the longer rainy season from April to June, the herds travel back toward the north. Because the migration depends on rainfall patterns, its exact location varies each year, but your experienced safari guide will use expert knowledge to track the herds and take you to the best viewing areas.

Enjoy a full day of game drives across the endless plains, witnessing incredible wildlife, diverse landscapes, and the raw beauty of the Serengeti ecosystem.

You will return in the evening to Kati Kati Tented Camp, where you will spend another night surrounded by the sounds of the African wilderness.

Important Note: If you travel between early January and mid-March, your accommodation will be at Ndutu Kati Kati Tented Camp, located in the Ndutu area near the border of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. This strategic location increases your chances of witnessing the Great Migration, as the herds often move between the Serengeti and Ngorongoro regions during this period.

After breakfast, your Tanzania safari with Adhama Africa Adventures continues with a final game drive in the Serengeti National Park as you make your way toward the park gate. This is another great opportunity to spot wildlife you may have missed, as animals are often active in the cooler morning hours.

In the early afternoon, you will leave the Serengeti and continue your journey toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, one of Tanzania’s most unique and scenic regions. As you arrive at the crater rim, you will be rewarded with your first view of the Ngorongoro Crater, a विशाल volcanic caldera and one of Africa’s most breathtaking natural landmarks.

After taking in the spectacular views, you will continue to the nearby town of Karatu, located in the lush Ngorongoro highlands. Here, you will enjoy a guided walk through a local coffee plantation, where you will learn about the cultivation, harvesting, and processing of coffee—one of Tanzania’s most important agricultural products.

In the evening, you will check in at one of the beautifully located Tanganyika Wilderness Adventure Lodges, where you will spend the night in comfort surrounded by nature. This peaceful setting provides the perfect place to relax after a day filled with travel, wildlife, and cultural experiences.

Rise early and enjoy breakfast at daybreak before heading back into the Ngorongoro Conservation Area for one of the most exciting highlights of your Tanzania safari with Adhama Africa Adventures. You will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most remarkable natural wonders and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

This massive collapsed volcanic caldera is home to over 25,000 mammals, making it one of the best places in Tanzania for wildlife viewing. The crater offers an excellent opportunity to spot the Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard—within a single day. In addition, you may encounter spotted hyenas, rare African wild dogs, zebras, wildebeests, and a wide variety of bird species, with more than 500 recorded in the area.

Enjoy an extensive game drive across the crater floor, where diverse habitats such as grasslands, swamps, and acacia forests support a rich and thriving ecosystem. Around midday, you will stop for a scenic picnic lunch surrounded by wildlife and breathtaking views.

In the afternoon, you will ascend from the crater and return to your Tanganyika Wilderness Adventure Lodge, where you will spend another relaxing night. Surrounded by the peaceful highlands, this is the perfect place to unwind and reflect on an incredible day of wildlife and safari experiences.

After a leisurely breakfast, your Tanzania safari with Adhama Africa Adventures comes to a smooth and relaxing end as you begin your journey back to Arusha. Enjoy the scenic drive through the beautiful highlands and rural landscapes, reflecting on the unforgettable wildlife experiences and breathtaking destinations you have explored throughout your safari.

You will arrive in Arusha around midday, where you will be conveniently dropped off either in the city centre or at the airport, depending on your onward travel plans.

This marks the end of your incredible Tanzania safari, filled with memorable moments across Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park, and the Ngorongoro Crater—an adventure that truly showcases the beauty and diversity of Tanzania.
